Our Story
Over 10 years of pool experience
Southern Nevada Leak Detection was started by Nick Monteverdi and Kevin Arnold, two pool industry veterans who spent over a decade in the trade before opening SNLD. They watched Las Vegas homeowners get the runaround on leak repairs for years: vague diagnoses, repeat callbacks, estimates that grew every visit. So they built SNLD around the opposite approach: owner-operated, fast on the phone, fast on the schedule, and able to handle the repair in-house instead of handing you off to another contractor.
In the Las Vegas Valley, a leak isn't just an annoyance, it's expensive. Our desert climate already pulls inches of water from your pool every week through evaporation. Add a slow plumbing or shell leak, and you're losing thousands of gallons a month, driving up your water bill, stressing your equipment, and undermining the deck or yard around your pool. How much does pool leak detection cost in Las Vegas?

How fast can you come out?

Will you actually fix the leak, or just find it?
Both. Unlike most leak detection companies, we handle the repair too. Plumbing, skimmers, equipment, light niches, we fix what we find, usually on the same visit. One company, one invoice.
How do you find a pool leak?
We use multiple methods depending on what your pool's telling us: pressure testing the plumbing lines, dye testing the shell, electronic listening gear (hydrophones), and visual inspection of equipment. We don't rely on guesswork, we test until we know.
Do you work on commercial pools, HOAs, and apartment complexes?
Yes. We service residential, commercial, HOA, hotel, and apartment-complex pools and spas across Clark County.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Southern Nevada Leak Detection is a fully licensed, insured Nevada LLC. License and insurance certificates available on request.
How can I tell if my pool is actually leaking, or just losing water to evaporation?
The easiest at-home test is the bucket test: place a bucket of water on the pool step, mark both water levels, and check after 24 hours. If the pool drops more than the bucket, you have a leak. We can also walk you through it on the phone, call us before you book if you're not sure.
Do you service spas and hot tubs?
Yes. Built-in spas, attached pool/spa combos, and standalone hot tubs. Same detection process, same in-house repairs.
